Nightmare Costumes
The Back Story
I’ve always loved art and telling stories, being inspired by books and media from a young age. Always doodling fashion designs growing up, in 2014 I attended my first Comic Con and discovered the cosplay hobby. From then on I developed self-taught sewing skills before enrolling in my BA Hons in Costume Design and Practice at Birmingham City University in 2018.

I graduated from BCU with a 2:1 in my degree and since then have been working freelance in theatre and carnival productions; I also worked as an Alterations Seamstress in 2021. My most recent work has been with The Grand Opera House, Belfast as their Wardrobe Mistress for Oliver!
